JESSICA WRIGHT

Jessica Wright was born in Devon in 1994, and currently lives and works in Plymouth, UK.

Usually made to be site or event specific, her work centres on repetitive, therapeutic actions. It is universally inclusive, without participant requirements or borders. In this sense, public engagement is at the core of Wright's practice, her work often taking place outside of a conventional gallery space. The uncharted space between a group's collective memory and social history form the basis of a narrative, and acts as a creative and emotive outlet for participants.
